Sunny Health & Fitness SF-T7515 Review
The Sunny Health & Fitness SF-T7515 is a good choice for users who want to run, though the motor isn't designed for using at high speeds for long periods of time. But for those who like inclines, it's a great choice for the price.
- The track will go up to a 12% incline (the highest of all of our top choices under $500)
- Bluetooth and aux cord to play music or talk on the phone
- Speed up to 8 mph to accommodate jogging and running
- It folds up and moves easily
- The drawback of this treadmill is the belt size (39.14" long), it's not designed for taller people or people with longer strides
- The belt is also narrow (14.2" wide), so larger users might feel cramped
- The motor is only 1 hp, which isn't designed to be used at high speeds for long periods of time
The speed range is 1-8 mph, which is pretty good for a treadmill in this price range, but the track may be too small for taller users who want to run.
The belt is just over 39" long, which is short for any treadmill that you plan on jogging or running on. Especially if you're taller. It's over 14" wide, which is also narrow. The length and width of this treadmill should be deal breakers for tall users or users with longer strides.
It has 12 workout programs to help you vary up your workouts or to reach different goals (such as fat-burning or performance).
Folding and Moving
The Sunny has a soft-drop folding system that makes putting the deck up and down easy.
Tablet and Phone Space
There's space to hold your phone, a tablet, and a water bottle on the large console.
The 1 hp motor is another drawback of this machine. The weaker the motor, the more likely the motor is to fail under the stress of jogging and running for longer periods of time. As of now, we haven't heard cases of the motor failing.
Assembly is pretty simple, and as with all other treadmills, getting the treadmill out of the box may take two people as the unit is 121 lbs.
The Sunny Health & Fitness is 64.50" x 28" x 50.50."
The Sunny Health & Fitness can accommodate users up to 250 lbs.
To add more resistance in your workouts, you can change the incline 0% to 12% with the press of a button, which is the best of all of our top choices under $500.
The display tracks time, distance, speed, calories, and heart rate.
There's an audio jack to connect your phone, and the speakers are adequate but not great. If you don't want to use headphones, and these speakers aren't adequate, we recommend a small mobile speaker.
Heart Rate Monitor
You can monitor your heart rate by holding the handles on the sides.
The Sunny Health & Fitness has a 3 year warranty on the frame and 90 days on parts and warranty (a weaker warranty compared to our other top choices).
