The Elite Series standing desk from Apexdesk is very impressive and has everything we look for in a full electric standing desk. While there is a lot to touch on the stand out characteristic of this desk is the combination of it's large widths at a relatively low price. Nearly in a category of one the ApexDesk is the least expensive standing desk available 60" and 71" widths we have reviewed.
Most desks sold on online are 48", which is just about as small as we would recommend you go. 60"+ on the other hand is a great size for multiple monitors, a wide workspace and even offers room for a printer, speakers or other equipment you may normally have space for. A wider desk also contributes to improved stability, even when you're comparing the same desk in different widths. Wider desks also have heavier desktop surfaces which can help aid stability too.
What Real Customers Say
ApexDesk does sell the Elite series on their site but it's about $200 more than it is on amazon and it's no surprise they don't have any reviews. Taking a look at the Elite series on Amazon and it is pretty clear this is where focus on selling the desk. There are over 500 reviews, most fairly glowing frequently commenting about the quality, stability and value for money with an average a 4.70 out of 5. We generally agree with the sentiment of what real customers are saying. The only thing we think is missing is a comparison of the desktop surface, which in our experience is much thicker at 1" than most other standing desks tops. This gives the desk a solid feeling but does contribute to an extremely heavy desk that you may need help assembling.

How it Operates
The ApexElite series benefits from a very smooth and drama free operation. The soft start and stop slows the momentum of the desk when you're transitioning from sitting to standing or vice versa and is especially beneficial if you're using monitor arms and/or are particular of your monitors position. Desks and an abrupt stop when they reach their desired position tend to send a vibration through the desk and can be somewhat annoying day to day.
While this desk doesn't have a horizontal stabilizer bar, it's heavy duty frame and much wider than average widths (60" and 71") make it just as stable as desks that do. Side to side racking minimal with the Elite.
What also contributes to overall stability is your ability to level the desk. Leveling casters allow you to not only level the desk but evenly spread out the weight of the desk. Dialing this in can dramatically improve the stability of any desk.

If there is a specific attribute of the ApexDesk Elite Series, you're looking for, you'll probably find it here. One thing worth noting is the somewhat high minimum height of 29". 29" is a little high for people on the low end of the height spectrum and may require you to raise your office chair.

The ApexDesk Elite series is on the lighter side in terms of weight capacity compared to other large standing desks. While you're not likely to load up your desk with 225 lbs of office equipment, the large surface area does gives you the space to do so. This is especially if you're a PC gamer with 3, 4 or more monitors, with a large speaker set. For 99% percent of people, 225 lbs is truly plenty but consider the weight restriction if you plan to use every inch of the 60" or 71" desktop.

The warranty provided by ApexDesk is fairly short but it does include a full warranty on the motor and moving parts for a full two years. Some Manufacturers tend to limit the warranty on moving parts to just one year.
According to Apexdesk's site, they only pay for return shipping if they were at fault for sending you the wrong item. This could be worrisome since we have heard of some items being damaged during shipping.
While the warranty and return policy aren't impressive, we have heard reports of ApexDesk above and beyond to make sure customers are happy.
