Devaise Adjustable-Crank Desk Review
While we do not often recommend a crank-operated standing desk, the mechanism on the Devaise is very well designed and handles beautifully when operated. The crank offers a lifting speed of about 0.2" per turn, and takes about 80 turns to go from its lowest setting to its highest.
Devaise offers this desk in both black and white with two style options and with the crank positioned on either the side (model A1) or the front of the desk (model A2). The A2 also comes with two slats for displaying your smart device. This model was designed as a response to customer feedback, and is ideal for those hoping to fit the desk into an area with limited space.
There are also mobile desks as well as desks with an attached monitor arm.

The manufacturer only offers a 1-year limited warranty on the desk, which is much lower than most standing desks, even in a similar price range. Most offer at least a 5-year limited warranty. Devaise, however, is extremely responsive to customer feedback and is known to work with customers to address any problems they have with the product. Additionally, the simplicity of the manual crank operation means less moving parts and fewer operational problems over time. You may also opt for additional accident protection for $43 for 5 years or $26 for 3 years.
Because of its simple design and manual operation, the Devaise desk is very easy to assemble. At around 60 pounds, it can be challenging to get the box into place, but once opened the parts are well-packaged and easy to identify. Devaise also includes several spare parts to assist with assembly.
Is the Devaise Right for You?
The main benefit of this desk is the price. It's a solid desk that will get you standing, and is one of the cheapest standing desks on the market.
If you don't mind manually cranking the desk up and down, and you're fine with a black or white desk, Devaise is a great option.
